We visited in January 2009 and there was only a limited number of companies, at that time that provided accommodation in the area (and only one English website that we could find). Times have changed and you now have quite a choice. The company we used then was Wasteland Ski and the accommodation was Les Chalets du Superdevoluy.
Les Chalets du SuperdevoluyLes Chalets du Superdevoluy
This group of eight buildings, built about 2004/2005, is about 200m from the lifts, with most of the shops and facilities about 100-200m away.
Faclities available include a covered, heated outdoor pool, a fitness room and Wi-Fi at the reception, along with ski lockers in the base of the chalet and parking spaces.
The cleanliness of the rooms partly depends on the people that were in the week before you. To avoid a quite hefty cleaning supplement, you can opt to clean the apartment yourselves. Still, we found for the most part, that it was reasonably clean and comfortable. You have to leave a bond and that gets returned once the room has been checked (as of 2009).
If you find that any of these details have changed, then please contact me so that I can update the page. |

www.homelidays.co.uk Most of the tour companies mentioned above cater for ski holidays. Some, like Wasteland Ski and Snowtrex include a 6 day ski pass. If you are planning to go in the summer, then the private apartments may offer the best deal. Please note that some of the companies that offer more budget accommodation, may not include travel as part of their price (only accommodation and ski pass). It is always best to check what is included in the price quoted. Some, like the private apartments, will be accommodation only.
